Our workshops are designed for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced creatives, and are held in our welcoming creative space in Long Melford, Suffolk.

About Our Workshops

Do I need any previous experience?

No. Most of our workshops are designed for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience.

Our tutors provide step-by-step guidance, demonstrations and individual support throughout the session, ensuring everyone can create something they are proud of.

Our creative space is located within our interiors and lifestyle store, surrounded by beautiful furniture, home accessories, Annie Sloan products and inspiring displays.

What is included in the workshop price?

Please check the individual workshop description for specific details. Most workshops include:

What should I bring with me?

This depends on the workshop.

For furniture painting workshops, we may ask you to bring a small item to transform.

For other workshops, everything you need will usually be provided.

Details will be included on your booking confirmation.

How do I book a workshop?

You can book directly through the workshop page on our website.

Simply select your chosen workshop date, follow the booking instructions and complete payment securely online.

Can I buy a workshop as a gift?

Yes. Workshop gift vouchers are available and make a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys creativity, interiors, crafts or wellbeing experiences.

Gift vouchers can be used towards eligible workshops.

Furniture Painting & Annie Sloan Workshops

Are your Annie Sloan workshops suitable for beginners?

Absolutely.

Our Annie Sloan Paint School workshops are designed to introduce you to Chalk Paint® techniques including colour selection, painting methods, finishing and furniture transformation.

Do I need to sand furniture before using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint?

One of the reasons Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® is so popular is that it often requires minimal preparation.

During our workshops, we explain when preparation is needed and how to achieve the best finish for different furniture types.

Can I buy Annie Sloan products after my workshop?

Yes. You will also receive a discount voucher to use on the day.

No previous knowledge is required.

Can I buy workshops as gifts?
