Sometimes a brand comes along which you completely fall in love with.
That’s certainly the case for us at Little Gems Interiors when it comes to all things Toasted Crumpet.
From candles and greetings cards, to tableware and fine bone china, we just can’t get enough of these products which take inspiration from the beautiful British countryside.
We’ve worked with the Toasted Crumpet brand for nearly two years now.
I initially came across the designs prior to buying Little Gems Interiors, and just loved the style and quality of the notecards I had bought. I was also delighted to be able to support a small independent company with my purchase.
I went on to meet Creative Director and Founder of Toasted Crumpet, Jo Clarke, at a trade show. Warmed by her friendly personality and inspired by her passion for her designs, it was an easy decision to incorporate the natue inspired designs from Toasted Crumpet as one of our main suppliers. A key factor in that decision was that all of the products are designed and produced in the UK.
Jo’s contemporary watercolours bring the beauty of the natural world indoors for us to enjoy time and again.
Some of the designs have now formed collections such as the hand-illustrated Eucalyptus in a blue-green colourway and Bumblebee which celebrates one of the garden’s best friends across a wide variety of products.
Other collections include Animal Antics, packed with personality; Coastal which make us want to head straight to the sea; cool and calming Woodland Fern and the Explore and Treasure range with the National Trust.
My personal favourite though, is the Hydrangea collection which inspired an upcycle project now featured in our shop.
I used Toasted Crumpet wrapping paper in the Hydrangea design to decoupage a dresser painted with Aubusson Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™.
